Description

Every year, AIAS organizes a summer school for Ph.D. students on a technical topic of prominent interest in the field of stress analysis and mechanical engineering design. This year's focus on "Bioinspired Design Frontiers" explores the innovative application of nature's strategies to engineering challenges. By studying biological systems and their ingenious solutions—such as lightweight yet strong structures, adaptive mechanisms, and efficient energy usage—this theme opens pathways for advancements in aerospace, automotive, energy, and other industries. The integration of bioinspired principles fosters the development of materials and systems with enhanced functionality, sustainability, and performance.
